Natural Cottage Added to Available Accomodations
To accomodate our budget minded guests, a natural (or "local") cottage was built in 2013 and has proven to be a hit with our guests. It has two beds and additional guests can be accomdated. Here it is being built:
Carangyan Beach Resort is Electrified and Connected!
We are no longer "off the grid." In August 2012, the local electric utility company ran poles and electric line to the resort, so we now have utility provided electricity 24 hours a day. We still have our large generator as a back-up.
A road all the way to the beach is now complete. Two bridges and a causeway through a mangrove were built in late 2012 and early 2013 so guests may drive all the way to the resort.

Local Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts enjoyed a day of fun activities and swimming competitions at the beach.

During a recent Pandan Dinahit Festival, Carangyan Beach Resort was represented by Amelyn Eusebio, who won First Runner Up. Congratulations to Amylyn! The contestants visited the Carangyan Beach Resort for a photo shoot; prepped in the cottage, and posed at locations throughout the property. Amelyn is contestant #5 in the white cultural dress below.
